New at the university?
Maybe you’ve been asked to be photographed or interviewed at the Kåren?
Those people with a camera in hand and a press pass around their necks are Lösnummer! We run around capturing student life, either through "Vimmel" photos or by short and easy interviews called "ta pulsen".
What is event photography?
The Swedish word “vimmel” roughly means a lively crowd where many people are moving around in a somewhat busy and cheerful way. In this case, at tKåren Vimmel (event photography) means that we walk around and take pictures of the crowd during the evening, as well as of students who want to be in the photos either by themselves or in a group..
Why do we do event photography?
To show another side of student life beyond exams, lectures, and administrative changes. We want to highlight the joy, community, and those special moments that make your time at university unique. And yes, it seems to be appreciated! Many students are happy to be photographed, and we always make sure to get the best possible pictures.
What do we do with the photos?
We go through the pictures, delete the unusable ones, edit the rest, and then publish them on our website losnummer.se.
All event photos we publish are free to download for personal use. If you want to use them for marketing purposes, you need approval from Lösnummer. The photos are stored in Google Drive and shared with Kåren. After three years, the length of a bachelor’s degree, the photos are deleted to make room for new ones.
Don’t want to be photographed?
The photographer must ALWAYS ask for permission and explain what the photo will be used for. Of course, you can say no.
Have you changed your mind afterwards? No problem! Contact us via Instagram, email, or phone (see contact details below), and we’ll remove the photo both from our website and from Google Drive.
Instagram interviews
A few semesters ago, Lösnummer used to "Ta pulsen" (Take/check the pulse) at different events. That means we did short interviews with students about everything from “What are you studying?” to “Which song always gets you on the dance floor?”. A simple and fun way to reflect student life and let different voices be heard.
Now, we’re bringing the concept back—in video format! After a successful test run during Valborg 2024, you’ll soon be able to see our interviews as edited reels on Instagram.
Just like with event photography, participation is completely voluntary, and if you have any concerns or want something removed, just get in touch.
